I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The indoor water park was a hit with the kids, and having park admission included is a great perk. However, the rooms felt outdated, and we had a few issues with cleanliness and service. While the location near the amusement park is convenient, some of the facilities need significant attention. Overall, it was decent for a one-off visit, but I’m not sure I would return.

The rooms were quite dated and could use a major refresh. One of our initial rooms smelled of smoke, which was disappointing because the hotel is non-smoking. The second room was better, but overall, we didn't find them clean enough for our liking.

The service was hit or miss. We had to wait for our room to be ready upon check-in, and there was confusion with housekeeping not cleaning our room during our stay. Some staff members were nice, but the overall management of service was lacking.

My experience at the lodge was quite frustrating overall. While the waterpark was enjoyable, the room cleanliness was disappointing, and the service was chaotic and unorganized. The initial check-in process took far too long, and the unexpected extra charges made it feel unfair. Despite these negatives, the kids enjoyed the fun waterpark activities, which helped a bit, but it wasn't enough to make my stay positive.

We had a lovely holiday experience with Christmas decorations and fun activities for my daughters at the lodge. The water park was a major hit, especially since we visited when it was less crowded.
